Jury's out

I've owned two Ooma handsets for about 6 weeks. The price is very reasonable. The phones do almost everything I would want, but I wish it was possible to add unwanted calls to the Block List directly from the handset instead of having to go online to the Call Logs page of Ooma's website. I am currently experiencing a problem with one of my two lines. I am unable to call a particular number on that phone. I was able to call the number often within the past 6 weeks using that phone, and I can call it with my other Ooma phone and with my mobile phone. But now there is no ring, just silence. I have reported this to Ooma and they are working on it. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved soon because it is a number I call often. Overall, I am satisfied with the system.

Everything works as u said it would

A few false starts

but once the service was installed and up and running I am very satisfied. I was able to use existing telephones, and have the service I previously had without having to deal with Verizon. I'm very satisfied and have recommended the service to others.

Love it so far

I pay like $4.85 a month for my Ooma now. My internet phone service was only showing as $29.99 a month (I think), but when I droped that service, my cable bill dropped $53 per month. What they don’t tell you is, the majority of taxes are all related to your phone service!! They will also try and tell you it’s not a good deal because it breaks up your bundle deal. NO, it’s not a good deal because THEY lose money!!’n

Phone number transfer issues!

I had my phone service through Frontier FiOS (formerly Verizon) as part of a Triple Play of Intenet, Phone, and TV. I requested my phone to be transferred over to Ooma which went fairly smooth. After the transition, I lost my TV and Internet services. My phone service was also lost since I know longer had an internet connection. I can't imagine Ooma is unaware of how these transfers work. I also can't understand why Frontier would not at least send an email or confirmation that the account would be closed. We could have all avoided unnecessary hassles on the conversion. I wish Ooma had more documentation on what to expect from different carriers to avoid the surprise. Ooma should also have a line item to Rate your experience on Set Up. No one should have bad ratings on quality, features, and price

Love it!

My phone service through OOMA is as good or better than I've ever had from prior services that I have used. in the past. The difference is that it costs practically nothing.

Switched from MagicJack

Better call quality than MagicJack but i had to send my first Telo unit back for a replacement because the speaker stoped working and i also bought the HD3 handset but the sound quality was terrible so i returned it for a refund.

BEST HOME PHONE I'VE EVER HAD

I just wish I had foundry Ooma phone much sooner. Reliable, quality and cheap! Initial price is expensive but .monthly usage fee cheap cheap cheap.! Love the wireless feature since my WiFi is so far away from the phone stand.

Ooma landline

Replaced our previous landline carrier with OOMA. Cheaper and equal in quality.Only complaint is the upsell security products a bit annoying
