Effectively working at home

I had to update my Ooma messages to reflect this crazy times and no one in person at the location. Ooma has helped us by giving us the remote access I needed to effectively work at home. Therefore, I didn't need to use my personal phone (not giving out my number to everyone) and could maintain, as much as possible, a divide between home and work life, from home.

We are now working mostly remotely and cutting some staff hours, so having the option to forward phones to still be able to answer calls as needed is super helpful!

Three out of five of my employees are now working from home. They use their Ooma app to connect to their extension phones, and this works seamlessly. The virtual fax feature is also convenient. Very pleased with our Ooma phone system.

Left Centurylink because of the terrible customer service, high rates, and expectations of a contract. Happy I did it! I’ve never had issues with customer service, the rates are absolutely affordable, and best part, no feeling stuck by a contact! We’ve adjusted to primarily call in orders rather than in person. With Ooma, we’ve been able to update temporary voicemail messages with updated hours and utilize the caller ID features to follow up with customers as needed without paying an arm and a a leg for service.
