Bad start good finish

I have been an Ooma residential customer for 10 + years so I have been researching their business service for about 1-2 years for a store front that I have because I'm so tired of the price gauging from phone companies and my residential service I have had excellent experience. The initial sales call the woman was pushing the promotion which was great and all but she asked me what I currently have and configuration which is retail so everything is cordless. Clearly she wasn't paying attention and I assumed she did -end result was I was sent phones I can't use. After they make the sale it is nearly impossible to reach that person back to say hey I think you made a mistake. Customer service kept saying that there is nothing they can do and I have to now buy cordless phones at close to $80 each. I just can't afford that so I pursued and fought until they connected me to my sales person which she rectified and said it was a mistake and they would send me 1 cordless phone at no charge. ok great but then I wasn't getting it or tracking information for either orders 1 week after and I called in yet again - couldn't figure out why I was not getting phones shipped and guess what no such order for a cordless phone on record. I went through the same fight to get back to sales all over again, this time I got it in writing in email and email contact - a mistake I usually never make but because I had such a successful previous experience residentialy I gave them too much credit.

Easy setup

Simple and easy setup. With IP phones it takes the guess work out of anything. Just enter the MAC address for the device and it's up and going in a few minutes.

Set-up was quick and simple, and tech support was able to answer all questions asked during the short set-up time.

Couldn't have been easier

Setup couldn't have been easier. Our phones came in boxes, pre-labeled, with simple picture installation diagrams. Took all but 4 minutes to unwrap, assemble, and plug in. Pressed and held the OK button for 15 seconds and walked away. They were operational in about 5 minutes. Setting up the customization was a little bit more labor involved - it took about an hour to get everything perfect. Love the different accents of the unattended operator.

Started wrong but ended Fantastic

Started off wrong- phones sent to wrong state, order was incorrect, short 1 phone. But when I called was blown away by the outstanding customer service. You never know what kind of service your ready gonna get until things go sideways. I know I can count on Ooma Team to take care of me. That’s awesome!

Quickly set up

It was straightforward. Customer service was readily available to answer one question we had with setting up a conference line. We were up and running the same day with 20+ phones. We are still waiting for supported devices to be added such as door locks and warehouse paging.
