How do I send and receive text messages (SMS) via the app?
To send a text message in the app, follow the instructions based on your operating system.
For iOS:
- Tap Messages in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap + and enter the contact or phone number you want to send a message to. You can send a message to up to 10 contacts or phone numbers.
- Hit send!
For Android:
- Open the Settings menu and tap Messages.
- Tap the Messaging button. You can send a message to up to nine contacts or phone numbers.
- Hit send!
You can send SMS messages, photos and PDFs through the app. The app supports personal and shared messaging inboxes, message groups, and templates to streamline your team communication.
Ooma Business Texting, which lets you send SMS messages with your Ooma Office phone number, is available with Ooma Office Pro.
