Love the fact that Ooma allows you to block unwanted telemarketers. Price is super compared to other services.

Easy transition and worth it!

Was tired of paying my cable company for phone service. I only need basic phone service. I don't need all the fancy add ons and services. Since Ooma had better reviews than others, though some of the reviews about customer service was daunting, I still decided to try them. I've been with them about 2 months now. I am very satisfied. It was easy to set up. Though, it did take a while for it to successfully link. I paid to have my phone number ported. It took much shorter than Ooma said it would. I did need to contact customer service because even though my number was ported and the temporary number did not disappear. I could not figure out how to do it on my own on my account. I needed help straightening that out. One phone call (less than 5 minutes on the phone) and it was taken care of. Customer service was very pleasant and helpful. I also had an issue with the Ooma hub going off line and since it is before my wireless hub, I lost internet until I rebooted the Ooma hub and so far all is good. I do have to pay Ooma 'fees and taxes' to about the song of >$7/month. But, I was paying at least that to my cable company plus the phone usage.

initially disappointed

I subscribed to the Premier level because I wanted to attempt to stop the constant barrage of "Robo" calls we received every day. After a little more than two weeks into my subscription and no reduction in those hated Robo calls I decided to check my subscription to see if I had made a mistake. No I really did subscribe to the Premier level so in an attempt to discover why I had seemingly no relief from those constant Robo calls I contacted tech support and quickly discovered I had not correctly set up my "blocked calls" section. After a few minutes with the friendly tech support person with entry suggestions on each line I have since had absolutely no Robo calls. My wife is very happy and that makes me happy for I am the person who persuaded her we should try this system. We Absolutely love it.

More than satisfied customer

I purchased the Ooma phone system well over ten years ago, after being informed of the product by a current user at the time, and have been more than satisfied with the product. I have since referred the device to friends, and they have been very happy with it as well. I am now a shareholder in your company.

LOVE my Ooma!

Have had Ooma for 7 years, and it has never failed me. I'm in Mexico right now, and can call anywhere in the US at no charge, and my family and friends can call my usual US number to reach me here for free. The cost is amazingly low for the services you get. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Cost effective way to have a home phone

I've had my Ooma for a month and have experienced no issues. It was extremely easy to set up and while it took some time to get my number transferred ("ported") over to my Ooma phone it was pretty seamless. The quality of the phone calls is very impressive and I would say that it's actually better than the landline from the big carrier that I had. Most of the additional features are not something I would use, however, I could see where it would be of use to a lot of people. It's a little pricey on the front end but after a couple of months of you use it pays for itself. Would recommend to anyone who has internet connection and needs a line into a home rather than a cell phone.
