Just a bit disappointing

Everything said about ease of setup is true. EVERYTHING. Oomas, Bluetooth adapter is excellent but when calling them, the support folks didn't seem to know what the device is.However, other add-ons don't seem to live up to promised performance. The Ooma Linx does what they say, but when you want to make a call, there is a 3 to 5-second delay before you get a dial tone. While making the call it is only a bit annoying, but it makes my phones redial feature useless. That being said, if it failed I would purchase another.Bill

So far it's all good!

I originally went with MagicJack because of name recognition and price...oops. After I realized how poor MagicJack was compared to my expectations I had to do something so I did a little online work and decided to go with Ooma.....much better. Yes, Ooma did set me back quite a bit more than MJ but it all comes down to whether you want a GOOD phone conversation, that doesn't drop or disconnect you, sounds like you expect a phone conversation to sound and has decent support if you have an issue or you can go with someone else and hope for the best. So far Ooma has performed flawlessly in every respect.

Love it

Only regret not finding a deal at Walmart sooner. I paid less than $35 to set it all up. It's paying for itself every month and more. Replaced my "Vage" and I have had no regrets since.

Best Camera on the market

I had purchased another brand only to be let down when they announced that they were shutting down. I had the butterfleye cameras stored away since their arrival at my residence. I then set the butterfleye cameras up with ease and wow they are excellent. Theses are a must buy. Their support team is diligent in getting back to their customers and have been advised that they are looking into future accessibility with smart TV’s, etc.To me this is a sign of a moving forward company, along with its senior staff.

My Review

Service is fine except that from time to time callers can hear an echo, which can be disturbing and/or confusing.

New user

Easy to hook up and install. Works great. Saving bucks each month is great. I may look into other features later but not now, as I have no immediate need.

Too many dropped connections

Quality of sound is just good. Features are as good as any service anywhere. The only negative is that I get sudden dropped connections on occasion. Sometimes after 1 hour and sometimes after only 10 minutes. It happens frequently. Very annoying. But at $5 a month, I am sticking with it. Just wish the dropped connections would stop.

Easy to use

Price is average, sound is good, easy to set up. Love the feature of missed calls showing up on my computer, as the blinking light is rather small and sometimes easily missed. Also have difficulties deleting calls from my phone.

Ooma Telo Review

The service is great period.The only issue that I have is I wish I would of new about this sooner.I recommend this device to any one looking to save money and not skimp on quality.

It's working! Customer service and concerns seem well handled and seem to be important to these folk. I can make calls out and receive calls and messages. The price is right (so far) and I hope that the experience of price increases are kept at bay. I have decided to take it one step further and I just purchased one of their wireless phones. So getting rid of some more wire clutter is exciting. I will say, that writing a review of something, as a new experience, early on in it's usage, seems a little premature, however, I am glad I have included this system as one of my chosen systems (or gadgets).
