Phone works great, fax not so much.

I love the app that rings on my cell and lets me call using my business number. I could never get the virtual fax to work in spite of numerous calls and them telling me that it did work. I have two clients who want to fax me stuff and neither one ever was successful. Also the fact that they actually email your fax as a pdf attachment makes it not acceptable to use with the IRS (which is the only reason I need a fax to begin with.) I think it would be ok if they would let me log in and retrieve the fax rather than emailing it, but they don't have that option. So I got an all-in-one printer but, of course, I can't get that fax to work to save my soul. (I can send, but not receive.) So because of this fax issue, I am probably going to have to put in a separate land line for my fax, which probably somewhat defeats the purpose of having Ooma Office in the first place.

The attendants voice from scrip needs some work. Had to modify the scrip in order for her to say our company name and some other words correctly. Maybe some other accents would be good options, like my iPhone and automobile nav system must have 10 or more!We have had some calls dropped. Seems that the caller did not make extension choice quick enough, so a bit more time would be good for them to make a choice.
Not the kitchen sink, but not priced like it was, either...

Most of these companies try to string you along as "better quality plus so much more" for the price. Ooma gives us everything we had with the other, much higher priced company with the same and possibly better quality. The learning curve of switching companies was minimal, though there is a learning curve for things like transferring calls. There are also very few options for adding things that I now wish we could get like call blocking for spammers that tie up the line, becoming an increasing problem (and has been long before we switched, so this is not the fault of Ooma). Great price for what we get. That's the bottom line.

The hardware has been problem free and Ooma customer support has always been friendly and fast. While we don't regret going with Ooma, now that we've been using the system for several months, there are several features we think are missing. Several seem to be simple and obvious software issues:1. The ability to click a link in an email with a voice mail to delete the message from the system.2. Music on Hold to not restart every time a call working through a ring group rings the next extension.3. Useful logs would show the full path an incoming call made.4. The ability for a Ring Group to have a distinct Voice Mail box without getting charged for another extension.5. Lower cost for adding an extension that doesn't need a direct dial number.

Ooma has nothing but been the best investment in our business. No hassles no errors and no miscommunication. Ooma make this very user friendly for all users. I've always had trouble with 3 big service companies and they cannot compare the quality that Ooma provides. Thanks Ooma, your business helps my business from the start 🙂

All aspect of the service works except for the fax. When trying to send a fax out, that has over 20 pages but still under 5MB, it fails constantly. That issue is still unresolved. PLease have this issue fixed. Thank you.

I love the ease and convenience of having a second line on my personal phone without having to give out my personal number as well as having the option to listen and view voicemails through email. I do however have a few issues with spotty coverage in certain areas. It would not be such a big deal, however, the area in question is my house in Rocklin. This kind of defeats the purpose. I have found ways to work around this like calling people back off of my personal line after hearing messages but it would obviously be better to be able to answer and communicate right away. Another issue is having to log into my phone, and then the app, and then take a call. Even though I have it set for several rings, usually by the time I hear it and get that all in, the call has gone to vm. I will say, the customer service with Ooma has always been wonderful. Technicians have been super responsive when called and have been able to trouble shoot most issues. All in all, it's a good product for a fair price. Anyone who can get us away from the physical office so that we are more productive in the field is good in my book. Thank you, Angela, Guild West Property Management.

I have been enjoying ooma office with two clients now and ourselves for a few months now. One new client is very happy with it as well.I have heard that my client called ooma tech support and had some issues. The customer got fustrated with the tech support, unplugged the devices and solved her own problem.No response from the president when i had an issue. The issue got resolved over the weekend however.I still have one issue with a ring group and doing the same ring over that AT&T gives...when line 1 is occupied or busy, it should immediately ring over to the next extension/line, but it beeps in the receiver a number of times and then moves over to the next line/extension. This should have an option to ring over immediately if busy.
