911 and e911 Service Issues

Last Updated: March 12, 2026
  1. Table of Contents

I want to use Ooma with my land line. Are 911 services provided for me?

Your 911 services will remain unchanged and provided by your local phone company

How do I make e911 calls if my internet is down?

If Internet service is unavailable, non-landline customers will need to call from a mobile or working phone.

I made a test call to 911 and it sent me to the wrong routing center

For this reason, we urge customers to keep contact information up to date. Please log into your My Ooma account and update the service address.
