One to Many Messaging Overview (Pro+)

With one to many messaging, users can use the Ooma Desktop application or mobile app to send the same SMS message to up to 30 people at the same time. Recipients will be able to reply directly, but they won’t have the option to reply all or see other recipients. Think of it like a BCC for texting.

There are plenty of use cases for one to many messaging. Here are a few examples:

• A realtor may need to send a single message to everyone she’s meeting that day
• A restaurant may want to inform multiple people on the waiting list that their tables are ready
• A store that takes online orders may need to tell several people their orders are ready for pickup

To send a one to many message, follow these instructions:

1. Log into the Ooma Desktop App
2. Go to the Messages tab
3. Use the Message dropdown menu in the upper-right corner to select One-to-many message
4. Add recipients and create your message
5. Send your message

Any replies you receive from your one to many message will begin individual one-on-one conversations.
