Host options during Ooma Meetings (Pro)

As the Ooma Meetings hostPRO, you have special privileges to help you manage the participants. To get started, hover over the sandwich button on the image of the person you’d like to manage. This will bring up an options menu:

  • Mute lets you mute an individual user for all participants (this option only appears if the user is not currently muted)
  • Mute everyone else lets you mute all other users besides the selected participant
  • Stop video lets you turn an individual user’s video stream off (this option only appears if the user is currently streaming their computer or has their camera turned on)
  • Disable camera of everyone else lets you disable the cameras of all other users besides the selected participant
  • Make host transferrs the host privileges to the selected user
  • Kick out removes the user from the meeting
  • Start / Stop remote control lets you take control of another user’s screen
  • Send private message lets you type a message directly to the user
  • The volume slider lets you adjust the volume level of the user for yourself only
